Personalized Coaching | Ages 10 + | Your Voice. Your Goals
Personalized Vocal Coaching | Ages 10+ | 50-Minute Sessions
One-on-one vocal coaching built around your unique voice, experience, and goals. Learn how your voice works, develop healthy vocal technique, gain greater control, and apply what you learn directly to the music you want to sing.
Awareness + Intention
My approach to vocal training is built around two principles: awareness and intention.
First, learn to recognize what your voice is doing and understand how your instrument works. Then, learn to make intentional adjustments that create a healthier, more controlled, and more expressive sound.
The goal is not to make every singer sound the same. It’s to give you the knowledge and tools to develop the best version of your own voice.
What We Work On
Every voice is different, so lessons are adapted to the individual student and may include:
How the voice works and vocal theory
Healthy, relaxed vocal production
Breath management
Placement and resonance
Projection and vocal control
Range and flexibility
Posture and reducing unnecessary tension
Exercises tailored to your individual needs
Applying technique directly to full songs
Lesson Frequency
Weekly lessons are recommended for consistent progress.
When available, biweekly lessons may be offered to students who are committed to independent practice between sessions.
Lesson times are based on current studio availability.

Establish a regular lesson. In Vocal Stage each lesson is personalized to your voice and goals, combining targeted vocal exercises with practical application through songs.
Make each song your own. Develop emotional connection, with phrasing, dynamics, vocal color, articulation, and ornamentation while making intentional choices that support the lyrics, style, and meaning of the song.
Build confidence on stage, connect with your audience, use a microphone effectively, and develop purposeful movement and stage presence.
All Vocal Stage students have the opportunity to put these skills into practice at the annual recital and experience performing in a live setting.
Recitals & Recordings
Beyond the Lesson
Vocal training becomes more meaningful when you have opportunities to use what you’ve learned. Vocal Stage students can take their skills beyond the lesson through live performance and studio recording experiences.
Annual Live Recital
Studio Recording - Optional
Held annually during the first week of December, the Vocal Stage Recital is our end-of-year performance and final performance lesson of the year.
The recital gives students the opportunity to apply what they have learned, develop performance skills, observe and learn from other singers, and celebrate their progress with friends, family, and the Vocal Stage community.
The recital is a mandatory part of the Vocal Stage program; performing on stage is not. Students who are not ready or able to perform are still expected to attend and participate in the learning experience.
A mandatory, non-refundable recital fee equal to the value of one private lesson applies to all enrolled students, whether or not they perform.
Vocal Stage students have the opportunity to experience the recording process using professional microphones and recording equipment in a supportive studio environment.
Recording a song allows students to apply the vocal technique, interpretation, and performance skills developed during lessons while gaining experience with studio microphone technique and learning to listen to their own voice from a different perspective.
Recording sessions are available Saturdays by appointment only and use a prepared instrumental/accompaniment track. Recording of live instruments is not included in the standard recording options.
Participation is optional, and currently enrolled students can discuss preparation and scheduling directly with Liz during their lesson.
Student Benefit: Currently enrolled Vocal Stage students receive 20% off recording services when their recording session is scheduled during the month of May.
Let's Sing !
I believe anybody can sing. With a healthy voice and hearing, proper guidance, consistent practice, and an understanding of how your individual voice works, you can develop the skills to sing with greater freedom, control, and confidence, no matter your age or technical level. The goal is not to make every singer sound the same—it is to help you understand, develop, and make the most of the voice that is uniquely yours.
